About the Role

Cross Roads Smiles Dentistry is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists in gaining patient commitment for optimal treatment with urgency
  • Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing patients on optimal treatment while addressing their individual needs and concerns
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and welcoming environment for patients, preparing them for treatment and assisting doctors to provide efficient and quality dental care
  • Complete x-rays and intra-oral pictures of patients as directed by dentists
  • Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by dentists
  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories in accordance with American Dental Association guidelines
  • Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies
Requirements
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
  • Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling for orthodontic procedures, pit and fissure sealant application, etc)
  • Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
