About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our imaging department.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all imaging procedures are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and regulations. This will involve monitoring staffing levels, coordinating staff orientation, maintaining in-service education records, and preparing and scheduling training activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and monitor staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods;
  • Collaborate with imaging leaders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary;
  • Develop and maintain processes to support continued accreditation and regulatory compliance;
  • Perform quality assurance checks on imaging equipment and reports to ensure adherence to established standards;
  • Cover all aspects of patient care, including consultation with physicians and maintenance of accurate records.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • An Associate's degree in a relevant field;
  • At least two years' experience in medical imaging or a related field;
  • A valid certification in radiologic technology (e.g., ARRT-CT, ARRT-M, ARRT-MR) or nuclear medicine technology (e.g., CNMT);
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
