Automotive Service Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and repair problems

  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds
  • Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • Understanding of automotive air-conditioning systems
  • Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data
