We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Campus Apartments. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical and mechanical upkeep of our properties.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain the overall appearance and condition of our properties, including painting and cleaning of internal and external areas.
- Perform maintenance work, including mechanical repairs, code compliance, and fire alarm checks.
- Oversee capital improvement projects and apartment work, including scheduling and budgeting.
- Manage the maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
- Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional education or certifications in a relevant field (e.g. HVAC, electrical, pool operations).
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
