Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Balmain's ethos and values, demonstrating reliability, collaboration, and integrity as a brand representative.
- Act as a liaison between the New York Office and local markets, providing guidance and feedback when applicable.
- Create and foster strong working relationships with internal and external partners, including the New York Office and local vendors.
- Exercise creativity and forward thinking, acting with autonomy and making recommendations based on business needs.
Sales and Customer Service:
- Model sales leadership by actively engaging on the sales floor and managing client relationships.
- Elevate the in-store experience by consistently delivering memorable moments.
- Drive client development activities among team members to cultivate new and existing clients.
- Train, develop, and coach employees to ensure regular client outreach and development.
- Manage and motivate the team to achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual store sales plans.
- Partner with the Buying and Merchandising team to ensure product assortment aligns with market needs and sales goals.
- Develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in the market.
Operations Management:
- Ensure exceptional operational support to drive sales and service.
- Maintain proper care standards for products to ensure quality saleable condition.
- Manage efficient back-of-house operations and ensure consistency with established procedures.
- Guarantee compliance with internal control procedures to achieve a successful inventory result.
Talent and People Management:
- Identify training needs and develop growth potential for each staff member.
- Network and recruit to build a pipeline of diverse, multi-lingual, highly skilled talent.
- Continuously train, coach, and provide feedback to team members to set them up for success.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Retail Management experience, preferably in the luxury sector.
- Exceptional organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving attitude.
- Collaborative spirit and proactive attitude.
- Strong people and performance management skills.
- Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to travel 15%, both internationally and domestically.
