Job Summary: The Staffing Resource Specialist provides critical support to our Patient Observation Services department, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication among team members. This role requires a strong understanding of departmental needs and employee skill levels, as well as the ability to facilitate collaboration and teamwork across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess departmental needs and skill levels of employees
  • Facilitate communication, collaboration, and teamwork within the department and with nursing units
  • Coordinate daily operations, operational changes, and process improvements to align with departmental and hospital mission values and quality initiatives
  • Complete scheduling process for both departments and ensure accurate supplies are maintained in each area
  • Serve as a liaison between department staff and leadership team

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a nursing-related area
  • Graduate degree in nursing or college courses in nursing with required licensure/certification
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • Registered Nurse licensure required

Work Schedule: Every Saturday and Sunday, 7pm-7am, with one 7pm-7am shift on Monday through Friday, varying days weekly.
