Key Responsibilities:
The tasks you will undertake include:

  • Designing mechanical and plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, sizing, equipment selection, specifications, and coordination of fire protection systems.
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Reviewing and processing shop drawings and submittals.
  • Performing quantity take-offs and preparing cost estimates.
  • Communicating effectively with clients at all levels to support ongoing projects and develop new opportunities.
  • Managing projects and serving as a liaison between clients and our team.
  • Mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:
What you will bring to the team:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical and plumbing design as an engineering consultant or plumbing contractor.
  • A Professional Engineer license is required (IA preferred).
  • Experience with architectural projects, including schools, municipal buildings, healthcare facilities, and commercial structures.
  • Prior experience managing projects from start to finish, collaborating with contractors, clients, and other disciplines.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required; sponsorship is not available for this position.
