Quick Lane Maintenance Specialist

The Quick Lane Maintenance Specialist is responsible for efficiently performing lubrication services on vehicles while adhering to company and manufacturer standards. This role is crucial in fostering customer loyalty by ensuring their vehicles are safe and reliable.

Preferred Skills and Qualities:

  • Experience in Lube or Tire Technician roles is advantageous.
  • Seeking a technician who is proficient in flat rate express services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and service vehicle maintenance systems, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles, checking critical components such as batteries, lights, and tires, and refer necessary repairs to the Service Advisor.
  • Operate and maintain lubrication equipment, ensuring all services are performed to the highest standards.
  • Receive and process repair orders, efficiently moving vehicles to the service lift.
  • Lubricate vehicles thoroughly while identifying additional repair needs.
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly, particularly service lifts.
  • Utilize materials and supplies judiciously.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles and limit driving to necessary business purposes.
  • Keep the workshop organized and account for all dealership-owned tools.
  • Stay updated on the latest diagnostic techniques and service protocols across various brands.
  • Engage in ongoing training and attend manufacturer-sponsored courses.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors to confirm repair order details and diagnostics.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction scores by meeting established service standards.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions or safety incidents promptly.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations.
  • Protect dealership assets and customer information.
  • Complete all required training through the company’s training portal.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable work schedule.
  • Exhibit ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the reputation of Mac Haik Ford.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment assessments.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
