This engineering position is available at the Mid-level to Senior Staff Engineer tier.

Position Overview

As the principal engineering authority, this role will deliver expert-level knowledge in Cyber Security.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting advanced engineering problem-solving to support nuclear plant operations
  • Making critical technical decisions related to Cyber Security
  • Supporting fleet initiatives and modifications in plant design, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Ensuring all engineering outputs meet safety analyses, industry standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Leading sub-project teams and coordinating project responsibilities with engineering staff

Cyber Security Initiatives

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a sub-team leader for fleet cyber security projects
  • Collaborate with IT and site teams to implement the NRC-mandated cyber security program
  • Serve as the primary liaison for FERC/NERC mandated cyber security initiatives
  • Conduct cyber assessments as required by regulatory programs
  • Assist sites in testing and resolving issues related to cyber security
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential business impact

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Nuclear or related engineering for Senior E03 Engineer level
  • 5+ years of engineering experience for Senior Staff E04 Engineer level
  • 10+ years of experience in IT or engineering with a focus on cyber security
  • Advanced technical skills in engineering, IT, and cyber security
  • Previous leadership experience in project management
  • A comprehensive understanding of change management techniques for new technology implementation
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of IT and engineering
