Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Handyperson to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our store facilities, ensuring a safe and clean working environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain store facilities, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
  • Perform routine repairs and maintenance on basic parts, including doors, shelving, fixtures, and plumbing
  • Collaborate with the store Maintenance team and Store Leadership to execute a Preventative Maintenance program
  • Troubleshoot emergency issues and assist in coordinating and monitoring resources and resolutions
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical or related experience
  • Experience with mechanical/technical projects, including home improvements, remodeling, and general repair/handyman work
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge
