Job Description:

Our Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of cases, requiring strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs, CTOs, pacemaker insertions, cardioversions, and watchman procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain 12-lead EKGs and interpret results
  • Administer procedural sedation and manage patient airways
  • Insert and manage vascular devices, including IVs, PICCs, and central lines
  • Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics, including CVP and IABP
  • Collaborate with the interventional cardiology team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or similar environment
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Ability to work 4 10-hour shifts with 7-10 days of call per month, including one full weekend
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Impella and LVAD management
  • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize tasks effectively
