Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at WellSpan Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams for subsequent evaluation by attending physicians.
  • Assist physicians as requested in the selection of practical applications and technical factors.
  • Conduct quality control on MRI equipment and document results.
  • Collaborate with staff members and management team to identify and initiate interventions to address problems and issues.
  • Maintain a professional image and provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
  • Assist in the orientation of new personnel and trainees to the department.
  • Verify correct procedures and patient information, and contact physicians with discrepancies.
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
  • Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills required.
  • One year current work experience or equivalent time as an MRI technologist devoted full-time to a high field MRI scanner.
  • Registered in active status by the American Registry of Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current CPR/AED certification required.
