Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Review Manager to join our team at BMO US. As a key member of our credit risk management team, you will be responsible for conducting independent examinations of credits and portfolios to ensure risk rating accuracy and asset quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough credit risk reviews to identify potential issues and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in credit risk management practices
  • Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and best practices

Requirements:

  • 20+ years of relevant experience in credit risk management or a related field
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Professional designations such as CPA, MBA, or CFA
  • Superior knowledge of credit administration, policies, and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
