We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic team in Orcutt, California.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting students' communication development and contributing to their educational success.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to conduct screenings and assessments to identify communication disorders.
- Implement therapy activities and interventions under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
- Support students, either individually or in small groups, to enhance speech, language, voice, and fluency skills.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of individualized treatment plans in coordination with the supervising SLP.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, teachers, parents, and other team members.
- Contribute to the preparation and organization of therapy materials and resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Completion of a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) program.
- State certification or licensure as required by regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow guidance from licensed professionals.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
