Pediatric Pulmonologist

We are seeking an additional pediatric pulmonologist to join our existing pulmonary team at the department of pediatrics, University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and Children's Hospital of Illinois.
Job OverviewThis is a full-time opportunity with professional components including clinical, educational and research responsibilities. Scholarly and research interests are highly desirable, along with experience in teaching medical students and residents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide care, diagnostic and treatment services to children with pulmonary conditions.
- Maintain a spirit of inquiry and scholarship in the activities of the pulmonology service.
- Evaluate and manage patients with various respiratory conditions, including asthma, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement educational programs for medical students and residents in pediatric pulmonology.
- Pursue research opportunities to advance knowledge in pediatric pulmonology.
