Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Class A CDL Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a range of heavy and light-duty vehicles at various job sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, while also engaging in essential support tasks related to hazardous waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all operational practices and protocols.
  • Drive commercial vehicles and assist field teams as necessary, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Handle loading and unloading tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and compliance reports.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly placarded in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations while operating vehicles.
  • Participate in emergency response duties on a rotating schedule.
  • Engage in site remediation and equipment decontamination as required.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class A CDL.
  • Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
  • Capability to operate various mobile devices and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Successful completion of background checks and physical assessments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a commercial driver.
  • Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
  • Prior experience handling hazardous materials.
  • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles.
  • Background in manual labor roles.
