Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse for a travel nursing job in Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and trauma cases, and provide critical care to patients in need.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
