Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a School-Based Therapist. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication and language development of students in a dynamic school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to promote effective communication and language development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: IL state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
