Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to promote effective communication and language development.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Professional Development: Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics to enhance their knowledge and skills.
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: IL state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
