Senior Office Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Office Assistant to join our team at Sacramento County. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide exceptional support to our employees and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support to our employees, including answering phones, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
- Managing office supplies and maintaining a well-organized and efficient work environment.
- Assisting with special projects and events, such as preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely completion.
- Developing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure compliance with county regulations and best practices.
- Providing excellent customer service to our employees, visitors, and external partners.
Requirements:
- 2 years of clerical experience in a fast-paced office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, visitors, and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications to perform administrative tasks efficiently.
