About the Role

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary Teacher to join our vibrant school community. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English and Humanities, including Legal Studies
  • Develop and implement curriculum programs that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and report student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices
Requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner
