Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist operates medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the body, under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with standard operating procedures. This role requires a high level of technical skill and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate medical imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of the body
  • Follow standard operating procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements

  • Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography program
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical imaging setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Work Schedule

This role requires a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.
