Principal Geoscientist

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a highly experienced and accomplished professional to lead our Geoenvironmental and Remediation practice in the US. As a Principal Geoscientist or Engineer, you will be responsible for managing complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts, developing remedial strategies, and mentoring early career staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement remedial strategies and site-specific closure strategies
• Manage complex site investigation and remediation implementation efforts
• Develop and manage business development and client management initiatives
• Mentor and manage early career staff
• Work plan development, data evaluation, and report writing
• Prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related field
• Advanced degree in earth science, environmental engineering, or a related field (preferred)
• Professional registration (i.e., P.E, P.G.) (required)
• At least 10 years (15+ preferred) of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment
