Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Cogdell Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized plans of care to meet those needs
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust care plans as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current RN licensure from the State Board of Nurse Examiners in Texas
  • Previous experience in medical surgical nursing preferred
  • Knowledge of medications, pharmacology, and medical terminology
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic medical records
