About the Role

This position is within the Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business and Digital Transformation (EBDT) Classified IT Transformation organization, chartered with transforming IT delivery to Classified programs and environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Windows environments within DarkStar at one of our node locations and serve as the primary interface for DarkStar.
  • Closely work with the larger DarkStar system engineering and network teams to maintain, sustain, and keep secure all Windows environments throughout the system.
  • Responsible for system installations, upgrades, configurations, software installation, patching, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of various protocols such as DNS, SMTP, NFS, FTP, Telnet, SSH, and others, as well as system network tuning and configuration.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with configuring and maintaining Windows OS environments (Physical and virtual).
  • Experience with Active Directory administration, including health checks and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Group Policy Object configuration and administration.
  • Experience with Windows Updates and patching (WSUS). Offline WSUS experience a plus.
  • Basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills building effective relationships with teams and subject matter experts.
  • Security+.
  • DoD SECRET clearance.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with McAfee and EPO/ENS, Microsoft Exchange 2016/2019, Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and/or Windows OS image building processes.
  • Experience with script writing, PowerShell, Ansible, Python, or other automation/scripting tools.
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9.
  • Experience using Certificate Authorities (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure.
  • Experience with SPLUNK.
  • Experience with Domain Capable Windows/Linux/Virtualization.
