About the Project Engineer Role:

This position supports the Project Manager with a range of tasks and responsibilities within the construction sector, including the meticulous planning of operations for each project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Submittals and Requests for Information processes
  • Assist the Project Manager with procurement and subcontractor oversight
  • Support change order management alongside the Project Manager
  • Understand project specifications, township regulations, and water authority requirements for assigned tasks.
  • Utilize specialized engineering tools and software to accurately measure and calculate project excavation and construction needs, determining necessary materials across various dimensions.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in interpreting blueprints, drawings, maps, and related documentation.
  • Familiarity with engineering and project management software such as Bid2Win, Agtek, Autodesk, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Projects
  • Ability to create and maintain an organized, efficient, and integrated schedule and logistics system for each project.
  • Experience in developing cost-effective strategies for project execution, providing insights on cost savings, and addressing project challenges promptly and efficiently.
  • Self-driven team player with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Field or construction experience is advantageous.
