Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Dentist to join our team at Liberty Dental Plan. As a key member of our Utilization Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate adjudication of dental claims and prospective requests for dental services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical dentistry, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for conducting clinical reviews of claims and pre-authorizations, participating in quality management and improvement activities, and collaborating with our clinical team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct clinical reviews of claims and pre-authorizations to ensure timely and accurate adjudication
  • Participate in quality management and improvement activities to ensure the highest level of care for patients
  • Collaborate with clinical team to ensure accurate and timely decision-making
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise in Liberty Dental Plan's dental benefit plans and applicable state Medicaid programs
  • Participate in Quality Improvement and Provider Credentialing Committees to provide input on resolution of member and/or provider grievances

Requirements:

  • Minimum DDS/DMD degree
  • Active, unrestricted license or certification to practice dental or related health profession in Georgia in good standing
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical dentistry experience
