We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Avamere Chestnut Lane. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting in the preparation and serving of meals.
Responsibilities- Set up meal trays, food carts, and the dining room to ensure a smooth and efficient meal service.
- Assist in daily cleaning duties, such as work tables, refrigerators, and utensils.
- Retrieve dishes from the dining room, wash and clean utensils, and return them to their proper storage areas.
- Keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous materials.
- Assist Cooks in preparing meals and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- High-School diploma or equivalent if applicable.
- Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred.
- Must have or obtain a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire.
- Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
- Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred, but not required.
- Proficient in ASL or willing to learn: 5% bonus available.
- Attendance bonus: The perfect attendance bonus in a pay period will be $100.00 for a full-time employee and $75.00 for a part-time employee.
- Premium Pay for Holidays worked, conditions apply.
