Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the condominium premises, providing a safe and well-maintained environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests as assigned by the Chief Engineer.
  • Oversee and perform seasonal tasks, such as snow removal.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
Requirements
  • Low pressure Black Seal License a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance, repair, and/or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Technician will work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, wind, cold, and exterior elements. The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed, is also required.
