Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic thermal systems engineers to create state-of-the-art solutions for our defense, governmental, and commercial clientele. The systems we engineer are tailored to meet specific customer requirements and encompass a variety of technologies including single-phase pumped loops, vapor compression cycles, and advanced thermal management techniques. Our current projects enhance the capabilities of hypersonic vehicles, facilitate compact laser weapon systems, and optimize size, weight, and power for aerospace applications.
Key components we develop include cold plates for electronic systems, heat exchangers, thermal energy storage units, and mechanical parts for thermal applications. Our team of thermal engineers leads projects from initial concept through to production, engaging in product ideation, research, prototype development, experimental validation, and design for manufacturability. Each engineer is responsible for their own projects and research, with the opportunity to explore new technologies driven by their creativity and interests.
We employ advanced methodologies such as microchannel cooling, three-dimensional cooling pathways via additive manufacturing, membrane-enhanced cooling, and oscillating heat pipes. Responsibilities for this role include drafting proposals for innovative ideas, performing analytical calculations, conducting computational simulations (CFD and FEA), building and testing prototypes in the lab, and interfacing directly with clients.
Position Requirements

- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to strict ITAR regulations
- Minimum GPA of 3.3 across all degrees
- Strong grasp of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics principles
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems (LabVIEW preferred) for temperature, pressure, flow, and other measurements
- Experience in CFD/FEA modeling (ANSYS/FLUENT) is advantageous
