Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team on a PRN contract basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with coverage during week and weekend shifts, providing flexible and reliable support to our patients and staff.
  • Ensure accurate and complete pharmacy patient medication profiles, adhering to established policies and protocols.
  • Interpret drug orders and transcribe to computerized patient medication profiles with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to build and nurture relationships, ensuring seamless communication and care.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel as assigned, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree or higher.
  • Currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the resident state or eligible to reciprocate.
  • Two plus years' experience preferred but not required.
