Occupational Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Life Care Center of Farmington. As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct rehab care to patients in occupational therapy, working in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in community health matters and projects as appropriate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email
  • Liaison with patients, families, support departments, and other teams to plan for patient needs
  • Implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Perform proficiently in all competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and confidential information
  • Understand and follow company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Display integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completing mandatory Code of Conduct and other compliance training
Requirements:
  • NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional
  • Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (BSOT or MSOT)
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State
  • One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
