We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sanitation Team Member to join our overnight shift sanitation team at our Manufacturing Plant in Saratoga Springs. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the equipment and rooms are clean, meet the standards of food safety and state regulations, and are ready for production.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the plant meets or exceeds mandatory sanitation requirements for machinery, equipment, and facilities.
  • Rinse, clean, scrub, and sanitize all the equipment in the kitchen, including tables, dishes, utensils, carts, walls, floors, drains, and trash cans.
  • Take direction from the Sanitation Supervisor to resolve sanitation-related issues.
  • Actively participate as a member on assigned teams.
  • Carry out tasks in accordance with Stewart's policies, OSHA regulations, and USDA and FDA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Dependable with a team player attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while being safety conscious.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift in a wet environment for several consecutive hours.
  • Ability to work in an environment with a variety of temperatures and a moderate to loud noise level.
  • Appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment while handling various chemicals, including safety glasses, gloves, rubber boots, hearing protection, and aprons required.
  • Must adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices, including wearing a company-issued uniform, a hairnet, beard net, no jewelry, and no excessive makeup.
  • Prior relevant experience working in an industrial kitchen, restaurant, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with sanitation standards and good manufacturing practices as they pertain to food production equipment is a plus.
