Job Summary

The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating power industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires the ability to perform Order Filler and Checker duties, as well as accurately store, ship, and receive product to meet company standards of safety, security, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations, inputting data accurately into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Efficiently stack and store product in appropriate areas, maintaining an organized work environment.
  • Pull and prepare shipments, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped, meeting customer service standards.
  • Perform picking duties in an efficient manner, preparing freight for operations accurately and in a timely manner as required.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, reporting quality variances as necessary.
  • Move product from staging and/or storage to production lines and/or staging docks, properly documenting freight.
  • Keep accurate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security, assisting in physical inventories and ensuring proper stock rotation.
Requirements

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in a warehouse or material handling environment. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
