Key Responsibilities- System Design and Programming: Lead the design and programming of DDC control systems, including the development of complex control algorithms, sequences, and graphics.
- Project Leadership: Take the lead on DDC projects, including system design, project planning, and coordination with project managers, clients, and other team members.
- Commissioning and Quality Assurance: Oversee system commissioning and testing, ensuring that all components function as intended and meet design specifications.
- Advanced Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to DDC systems, including intricate sensor, actuator, and communication problems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed documentation, including system diagrams, control sequences, and user manuals, for client reference and future maintenance.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients to gather project requirements, provide technical support, and deliver training on DDC system operation and maintenance.
- Regulatory Compliance and Energy Efficiency: Ensure DDC systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, and identify opportunities to optimize DDC systems for energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Continual Learning and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DDC control systems, and research and propose innovative solutions to improve DDC programming and control strategies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role, demonstrating progressively increasing levels of responsibility and expertise.
- Skills: Extensive experience with DDC systems, associated hardware, and software, with advanced programming skills, and proven experience in leading DDC projects and managing project teams.
