Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound and other modalities to help diagnose and treat patients.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring patients understand their imaging results and treatment options.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training and education sessions as needed.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in an ultrasound modality.
  • Strong knowledge of imaging protocols and procedures, including ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
