As a School Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in the daily commute of students, ensuring they arrive at their destinations safely and on time. This position involves adhering to established routes, maintaining bus safety standards, and conducting thorough vehicle inspections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus along designated routes, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off of students.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to confirm the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Participate in regular safety meetings to enhance operational safety.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the bus to uphold the company’s image.
- Occasionally assist with field trips and special events as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A minimum of 5 years of verifiable driving experience is required.
- Must possess a clean driving record for the past 24-36 months.
- Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Completion of a comprehensive training program is necessary.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks.
