ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to provide psychological assessments, counseling, and support services to students in Wildwood, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to address emotional, social, and academic issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to review students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide programs to promote a positive school climate.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student services and progress.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in the state.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of students, parents, and staff.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in school psychology.
