Job Summary:

Vitalant is seeking a highly skilled CDL Driver to join our team as a Mobile Unit Assistant. As a CDL Driver, you will play a critical role in supporting our life-saving mission by transporting and assembling equipment/supplies needed for on-location blood drives, as well as delivering blood and blood products to donor centers, labs, and mobile blood drives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and assemble equipment/supplies for on-location blood drives
  • Deliver blood and blood products to donor centers, labs, and mobile blood drives
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Manage the safe handling, cleaning, and tracking of biowaste
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and donor care staff

Requirements:

  • CDL License with a clean driving record for the last 3 years
  • DOT Medical Certification (or willingness to obtain one as part of the pre-employment process)
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 6 months of similar experience and customer service experience preferred
