As a Nursing Assistant (NA) at our Sioux Falls, SD facility, you'll play a vital role in delivering resident-centered care and daily living assistance to our patients. With a focus on compassion, respect, and dignity, you'll work closely with our registered nurses to ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
Competitive Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $18.50 - $24.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. Essential Responsibilities- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
- Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
