Nail Therapist

The primary objective of this role is to provide exceptional nail care services to guests, ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing nail therapies, maintaining a clean and organized treatment area, and promoting spa retail merchandise.

• Perform consultations, therapy analysis, and verbal communication with guests seeking nail services.
• Perform all nail therapies for which training has been received, within the allotted time period.
• Maintain therapies within state guidelines for the Nail Technician license.
• Sanitize all areas of the treatment room, including instruments, tools, and appliances used for therapies.
• Promote and sell spa retail merchandise.
• Keep therapy rooms fully stocked.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Respond to guest inquiries regarding spa reservations, therapy descriptions, and other questions in a timely and knowledgeable manner.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certification from a college, technical school, or accredited facility as a Nail Technician.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training.

Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow associates.

Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction, and multiplication.

Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding the process of guest therapies at the spa.
