Job Overview

Soliant Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a Preschool Specialist. This is a full-time position that requires working 35 hours per week on-site. The caseload will primarily involve working with preschool-aged students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in preschool students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs, utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to preschool students with various communication disorders, promoting effective communication and social skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social progress, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans, adhering to established protocols and standards
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and professional development activities as required, staying current with best practices and industry developments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field
  • Current certification of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Ohio state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred, with a strong understanding of early childhood development and learning principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently
