We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at HCA Florida Highlands Hospital. As a Med-Surg RN, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions, identify changes, and report promptly to medical providers
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document care in the medical record
- Provide exceptional patient care, respond to requests, and anticipate patient needs
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or Recognized Compact Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
- Advanced certifications preferred
- Minimum one year acute care hospital RN experience
HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute hospital serving Sebring, Florida, and surrounding counties since 1965. We offer advanced technology, attracting top physicians and surgeons. Our Emergency Room is the area's only dedicated Senior ER, featuring designated parking and hearing amplifiers. Our Orthopedic Institute provides an upscale environment for joint replacements, with minimally invasive procedures resulting in shorter hospital stays and faster recovery.
