Adjunct Faculty Position in Communication

Chatham University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in the Communication department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Communication and experience teaching at the college level.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach introductory, intermediate, or advanced courses in Communication
  • Hold regular office hours and maintain professional communication with students
  • Consult and collaborate with other faculty to align with departmental teaching needs
  • Participate in departmental events and university trainings for adjunct faculty
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an MA or Ph.D. in Communication or a closely related field
  • Extensive work experience in the field is also acceptable
  • Candidates with a combination of academic and practical experience are encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching and mentoring at a college level
  • Experience working with diverse groups or teaching diverse students is desirable
