The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $125,000 - $190,000 USD per year, depending on qualifications and location.

Job Description:

The Senior Project Management Professional will be responsible for planning all project work, working closely with project managers to bring the project from design to completion, controlling each step along the way, and solving any problems that occur.

This role involves detail-oriented work, focusing on cost efficiency, evaluating, planning, and re-engineering each phase of an operation with time and budget in mind.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project schedules and ensure milestones are met
  • Work closely with project managers on project deliverables
  • Manage and negotiate subcontractor and material contracts
  • Manage closeout of areas and hand over to clients
  • Assist in updating project schedules
  • Coordinate and schedule shop drawings and submittals
  • Maintain accurate records of submittals, approvals, and resubmittals
  • Participate in monthly forecasting revenue and cost accruals
  • Accumulate data and prepare monthly pay estimates
  • Process and estimate change orders and requests for information

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management
  • Experience with MTA and/or public agencies preferred
  • Proficiency in basic engineering computations and analysis
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Auto Cad or drafting software preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and computer skills
