Overview

The Security Access Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and guiding non-cleared personnel, as well as facilitating access control for restricted areas within a federal government initiative across various sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and monitor un-cleared individuals in accredited facilities.
  • Prevent entry of unauthorized materials and items as directed by the Accrediting Official (AO) or their representative.
  • Perform random checks of secured zones for unauthorized personnel and materials.
  • Execute additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in security.
  • Availability for a consistent full-time or part-time security schedule.
  • Possession of reliable transportation to and from the work location.
  • Must hold an Active Top Secret Clearance.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer is essential.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of State security clearance is mandatory.
  • General knowledge to effectively use a hand-held radio is required.
  • Availability for weekend and on-call duties is necessary.
