We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Operations Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage pharmacy operations, including patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement processes to improve pharmacy efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of medications and supplies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, including responding to customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings, including 5-minute meetings and weekly check-ins with the Store Manager.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
- One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
- Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
- Previous people management/leadership experience.
- Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
Walgreens offers a competitive salary range of $22.50 per hour - $31.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
