Job Title: Tree Trimmer

DEO Enterprises is seeking a skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. As a Tree Trimmer, you will be responsible for safely trimming trees and palms, pruning trees to promote healthy growth, and operating chainsaws, pole saws, and power pruners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely trim trees and palms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prune trees to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Operate chainsaws, pole saws, and power pruners to cut away dead or excess branches and shrubbery.
  • Climb trees with safety devices to properly cut down limbs.
  • Use lifts and power tools to gain access to high areas.
  • Remove debris and take away large limbs for disposal.
  • Utilize climbing equipment or buckets of extended truck booms to access hard-to-reach areas.
  • Use shovels and rakes to clean up debris and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Manage and coordinate with work crews to ensure efficient and safe work practices.
  • Inspect trees to identify any issues, such as diseases, infections, insect damage, or fungus.
  • Ensure the worksite remains safe by putting up caution tape, cones, and signs around the work area.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience as a Tree Trimmer or related field.
  • Valid Driver's License (optional but preferred).
  • Work authorization (required).
