Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers. You will also be responsible for performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and product information.
  • Adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Requirements:
  • 12 months commercial driving experience.
  • Valid CDL A license.
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience.
  • Food service distribution industry experience.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. PeopleNet).
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e. POD).
  • Customer service related work experience.
