Job Overview

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents. As a Wellness Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting the overall well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

As a Wellness Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular wellness visits for all residents to assess their health and wellness needs.
  • Identifying and addressing any changes in a resident's health status, and collaborating with the Resident Care Director to develop and implement care plans.
  • Providing clinical support and assistance to community team members as needed, and maintaining effective communication with residents, family members, and healthcare providers.
  • Ensuring that all medical supplies and emergency kits are properly maintained and stocked, and that infection control practices are followed at all times.
  • Participating in Sunrise Quality Assurance Meetings and Clinical Meetings to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
  • A current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and services to our residents.
