We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in providing essential services to students with speech, voice or language disorders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of speech and language development, as well as the ability to assess and provide therapeutic intervention.


About the Role:
  • Job Type: Exempt
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Term of Employment: 191 days

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assess students with speech or language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
  2. Develop annual IEPs and complete 3-year re-evaluations.
  3. Plan and provide appropriate individual and group therapy to students consistent with speech/language goals contained in Individual Education Plans (IEP).
  4. Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and implement classroom-based activities to improve oral and written language skills of students.
  5. Evaluate student progress and determine readiness for termination of therapy services.
  6. Assist in the selection of materials, equipment, and supplies for diagnostics and therapy.
  7. Ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and principal.
  8. Complete all paperwork required by the district.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders; Master's degree preferred.
  • Current state license to practice speech therapy in the state of Arizona.
  • Working knowledge of IEP development.
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.

About the Compensation:$73,250 - $100,365 per year
